Fire Polish vs Regular Diamonds
Diamonds do not exhibit their trademark sparkle and shine until they have been faceted. Facets are the polished flat surfaces all around the diamond. When light hits the diamond, it bounces back off the facets, which is what gives the "sparkle" effect you expect. The majority of round diamonds have 58 facets.
Theoretically, the more facets a diamond has, the more it will sparkle.

In addition to the 58 facets that the majority of round diamonds have, we cut thousands of microscopic Fire Prisms on to the diamond! These prisms are so tiny - 1/500 of a human hair - they can only be seen with an electron microscope. And unlike facets - which simply return white light - prisms explode white light into the vibrant colors of the spectrum.
This is what Fire Polish is… a diamond with many thousands of Fire Prisms, each breaking white light into explosions of color. In fact, a Fire Polish diamond has more Fire (color light), Scintillation (sparkle) AND Brilliance (white light) than any other diamond you have ever seen. But don't take our word for it, go see for yourself! Ask your jeweler to show you two diamonds: one Fire Polish and one standard diamond. You will be able to see the difference from 20-feet away. That's the Fire Polish Difference!
